The American Red Cross has just issued an URGENT needs blood donors of all blood types, especially those with types AB, O negative, A negative and B negative, to help prevent blood shortages this summer. Please use the below key messages when encouraging donors to make an appointment to donate during this critical time. Walk-ins are always welcome. Please come and give the gift of Life!
The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime.
